Leica Rangemaster CRF Max

Description

The CRF MAX features an Active Matrix MicroLED display that’s not only the brightest in its class – for the first time, it can also be configured to personal requirements. Via the Leica Ballistics app, you can customize the display by arranging measured values, ballistic information and other output values such that the data relevant to your current hunting situation is immediately and clearly available. Even in bright sunlight or other difficult light conditions, the display ensures quick and clear readability – without compromising on optical quality.

Integrated into a compact rangefinder for the first time, the Leica Rangemaster CRF MAX calculates the probability of a target being hit. Developed in cooperation with Applied Ballistics®, Shot Probability Analysis takes into account distance, wind speed, rifle precision, and muzzle velocity of the bullet. The result appears as a percentage in the field of view. This allows the hunter to quickly and safely decide whether to take the shot. An unprecedented level of safety.

Ballistics calculation up to maximum range

Thanks to seamless transfer of individual ballistics profiles from the Leica Ballistics app, the Rangemaster CRF MAX swiftly calculates the exact shot correction up to the maximum range. This is made possible by the integrated Applied Ballistics Elite® software, which uses sophisticated algorithms for maximum precision. For hunters who want uncompromising accuracy – even at great distances.

Three target modes for every challenge

Thanks to the target logic modes “First”, “Best”, and “Last”, available for the first time, the target can now be detected even more easily and reliably. Modes can be flexibly selected to suit the respective hunting situation or shooting conditions. This avoids measurement errors, even if targets are partially obscured or difficult to detect.

With 7x magnification, maximum resolution, perfect color fidelity and contrast, the CRF MAX optics deliver razor-sharp images and enable detailed observations. For dependable identification and target acquisition. At the same time, its ergonomic, weatherproof, and extremely rugged housing guarantees maximum reliability and intuitive operation even under the toughest hunting conditions – whether in the mountains or in wide-open terrain.

Brand

Leica

It was the year 1849 when, in Wetzlar, Germany, Carl Kellner, a young mechanic founded the “Optisches Institut” (Optical Institute), where he produced glasses and telescopes. Shortly thereafter, in 1851, Kellner published an optics treatise titled Das orthoskopische Ocular, eine neu erfundene achromatische Linsencombination (“Ocular orthoscopy, a recently invented combination of achromatic lenses”). His invention was a success among scientists, and the Optical Institute began the production of microscopes that stand out for their quality and precision. This was the first step taken in creating one of the most renowned and recognised companies in the world known for the quality, innovation and differentiation of their products. Leica Camera AG is an international, premium manufacturer of cameras and sports optics. The legendary reputation of the Leica brand is based on a long tradition of excellent quality, German craftsmanship and German industrial design, combined with innovative technologies.
